Overview of the zoning plan Jervis Bay Marine Park

Species protection

Native marine mammals and seabirds are protected throughout the marine park. The species list in Table 4 includes fish species that are known to occur in the area, and are protected from being harmed, disturbed or taken from the entire marine park. This list complements other State and Commonwealth species protection legislation. The species list in Table 5 includes only those species that can be taken from habitat protection zones.
