Lord Howe Island Marine Park features in popular fishing show

Lord Howe Island Marine Park will feature in upcoming episodes of the fishing program IFISH.
The show’s film crew, including the show’s host Paul Worsteling, recently spent two weeks on the island filming their fishing adventures.
Lord Howe Island Marine Park Manager Ian Kerr said the film crew had experienced some of the island’s best fishing experiences.
“Local commercial fishermen took the crew deep sea fishing, near shore angling and fly-fishing.
“IFISH with Tackle World focuses on exciting fishing around Australia and internationally. It was wonderful to see how much they enjoyed the island and the Marine Park.
“Marine Park staff were also very much a part of the action, providing filming assistance from the Marine Park boat ‘Tursiops’. Marine Park Ranger Sallyann Gudge, was also interviewed about the amazing marine diversity around the island.
The show producers, “Dreampool Productions” will also be incorporating information about LHIMP onto their newly updated website.
IFISH program featuring the Lord Howe Island Marine Park goes to air on ONE HD this Sunday 24th May from 1pm and then on Channel Ten on 5th July at 1.30pm.
